I like their coffee. I almost eat breakfast and drink their coffee everyday. I spend from $10 to $20 dollars a day (mY brother with me and sometime my cousin) I like one girl there that make really good coffee frap but she quit :(( sad ( i think her name Britney) I started my reward card way late late late. I didn't know that i can pay separate for more stars to earn reward until my niece told me (she Starbuck addicted :) too ) Cashier don't like it and give me her mean face when I pay 4-6 items separated Dislike that part :((

Always busy, clean. Wi-Fi that works. The helpful staff is good at explaining the menu and helping me make a selection. I spend my gift cards there! Not as good of a visit this time. This time they didn't ask me for my name, and when I offered it, they looked at me like... that's nice. Awkward! No where too sit while waiting for the order. When my order was ready, they announce the contents of my coffee instead of my name. This was a little difficult, since they had to assist me in picking out what I wanted, & I wasn't sure that I remembered it correctly. Then my cup had coffee running down the side of it. They're out of napkins. When I asked them if they had something wet to wipe it off with, they just put it in an additional cup instead. Then to boot, the gift card balance was not available at the bottom of my receipt. It just said "unavailable".

Great Bucks, you know what to expect though! Clean bathrooms, nice outdoor seating, and a quick drive through! Oh yes, coffee is great and on par with other bucks and they make a good Latte! Industry standard and no complaints here!

Standard Starbucks with a boss drive-thru! Conveniently located a mile or so down the road from the airport and makes a great stop on the way out of town when you just landed, have a couple hours to drive and need to caffeinate! Nice folks and plenty of options to help keep you awake

I was pleasantly surprised when enjoying the drive-thru today at this location. Not to sound disparaging in the least; I had just had an unfortunate phone-based customer service experience with an airline in the hour leading up to my visit and I was more than grumpy. Mood: transformed. The woman running the drive-thru around 5 pm (and I wish I had grabbed her name, but I was honestly just caught up in the experience) was among the best I've seen at any Sbux location, ever. She was immediately aggressively courteous in a humorous, proactive way that would put the Disney brand to shame. She wasn't overly honeyed but just ready to do whatever it took to make my experience more than what I anticipated. Done. I couldn't help but smile and have a little rapport back with her. My drink was exactly as it should have been and I left feeling like I needed to plan my next trip back.

I remember when the first Starbucks came to Des Moines and everyone was pooping their pants excited while the rest of the country laughed at us for it. Not for pooping our pants but for finally getting a Starbucks. This Starbucks used to a staple of mine before work when was employed on the South Side. (Tazo Tea and a blueberry scone). I recently ordered an eight ounce Pike Place blend coffee and they were quick. The coffee was of course cool enough to drink three hours later. The parking lot and drive thru cluster is a fender bender in the making.

On the smaller side for a Starbucks. Clean and neat. Staff are friendly. The usual as far as choices. Clean bathroom and located in the front lot of a strip mall. It's decent enough but nothing stellar. For a Starbucks, I expect more. I wouldn't say my experience was uplifting which is one of their motos...

Well, this is a Starbucks. Tasty coffee for a price as I like to say. Their decor, coffee, staff is the same as all the Starbucks I've been to in my life. There is nothing about this location that stands out from the other ones. You will have no issues when coming to this one.

The atmosphere is very cool, the staff is great Jessica, Roxy and others are great to talk2. I usually get my coffee early morning before work and sometime before and after work (watch out if go early morning and give yourself extra time it can get very busy even with staffs working very hard trust me it happen 2me many times).

I have had a few experiences at this location; some good and some bad. I will have to admit I like the drive through a lot better then I do going inside this location. My last experience lead me to this decision. It was -4 outside so I decided to go in and have some tea, spend a little time away from the family I had been surrounded by for a few too many days in a row and relax a bit. It was about 10:30 on a Sunday morning so I expected the place to be busy. I wasn't in a hurry and I guess that was a good thing. I waited in line like a good girl. Placed my very simple order and took a seat to wait for my tea. I was fiddling with my Ipad and began to realize that all the people in line in front of me and some of those who were behind me had already left. I stood up and heard someone say to the tune of, I forgot. I realized they were talking about my tea. They forgot to even prepare my tea after 15 mins. Now tea is pretty simple, bag..hot water. I had asked for some splenda and a little ice so I could drink it. It wasn't a decaf, halfcaf mocoha choha laka skinny mochachino with foam. If that even exists. It's a bag some hot water some splenda. By this time I was a bit disappointed in the service and decided I was just going to grab it an go. I had lost my interest in sitting and relaxing after a phone call. I got to the car and realized that it wasn't the tea kind of tea I had ordered, no ice, no splenda and both the lines inside and at the drive through were just not worth waiting in to have it corrected. I would give this visit a 1 star because I can't give them a zero, but my other visits through the drive through were always correct, so I have rounded it out to 3 and will just chalk that up to a busy Sunday morning, which really isn't an excuse but will let it slide. I should have checked but I expected it to be correct, espically after it was forgotten about.

Love this Starbucks, everyone is usually pleasant expect when I get a young gal named Charlie . She never seems to have a smiling face nor happy attitude. She doesn't have a very inviting personality & should not be the greater when first giving my order.

This is close to my house so I'm here often... They are always fantastic! Never have bad baristas, drinks are always great, and they are speedy - except prime coffee time, which you can expect things to be a tad slower. :) all around great place. Studying is good too! Nice outside patio with 5 or 6 tables. One of my favorite Starbucks locations in Des Moines.

It's DesMoines and they serve strong coffee, so that makes me happy enough. Dude filled up both our cups without asking if we needed room, which is unusual for a Starbucks. The vibe felt a little off-brand and as tho it's run by a bunch of college/HS jerks. But like I said - COFFEE! I wouldn't expect a carefully crafted latte here. Just do with a safe bold drip style.
